Clive Garrard

My programme is a patient request programme on Monday evenings from 7.30pm to 8.30pm.

I can also be heard on "Sounds Of The Sixties", "Sounds Of The Seventies" and "Sounds Of The Eighties", on Conquest Hospital Radio. I have also got a 10cc documentary on there called "10cc And All That"

I first got the radio bug as a 15 year old schoolboy, seeing my hero Emperor Rosko at a radio 1 roadshow. I started running my own mobile disco in 1981 and then joined Hospital Radio Tunbridge Wells in May 1982. My first professional radio programme was on "Invicta Radio" on 25/11/1984, the day that the Band Aid single "Do they know it's Christmas" was recorded in London

I joined Hospital Radio Hastings [now Conquest Hospital Radio] in April 1989 after moving to Hastings. I have had spells on Hospital Radio DGH at Eastbourne from 1994 to 1999 and then again from 2001 to 2002. I have also been involved with "Hastings Rock radio" broadcasts since 1995. In April 1998 I was pleased to be taken on when the brand new Hastings radio station "107.8 Arrow FM" started. In 2002 I joined "radio Caroline" and still present "the 60's and 70's request programme" for them.

I like radio, music, foreign travel and swimming.
